Use this guide when setting up the portfolio or company information and team access that support day-to-day work in PropioLedger.

Company profile details can represent a formal company, an individual owner, or a rental portfolio name. They include display name, contact information, mailing address, and logo. User access controls who can view data, create records, add payments, edit property or rental details, and manage company users.

User Roles

PropioLedger uses two layers of access: an application role and a company role. The application role controls access to the global Admin area. The company role controls what a person can do inside an assigned rental portfolio or company.

Most landlord and rental property owner teams only need Company Admin or Company User access. Application Admin access is for people who manage the overall PropioLedger installation across companies.

• Application Admin: can open the global Admin area, manage companies, invite and manage users across companies, assign application and company roles, view user activity, use company scope filters, run Metric Audit checks, review privacy compliance records, and use read-only impersonation preview.
• Company Admin: can view company properties, rentals, reports, maps, expenses, notes, and settings; create and edit properties; create and edit rental agreements; add payments; add, edit, and delete property expenses; end started rentals; extend rental end dates; cancel future bookings before they start; manage the company profile; and manage company users.
• Company User: can view company properties, rentals, reports, expenses, maps, notes, and settings; add notes; add payments; and update permitted renter or contact details.
• Company Users cannot create properties, create rentals, edit rental terms, end rentals, edit property details, edit property expenses, or manage company users.
• No Application Admin role: can still work in the app when assigned a company role, but cannot open the global Admin area or manage users across companies.
