Occupancy Rate

Percentage of properties occupied by rentals during a period.

Definition

Occupancy Rate measures how many properties are occupied by rentals for a selected timeframe.

Monthly occupancy rate = occupied property count / total property count * 100.

Dashboard period occupancy rate = average of monthly occupied property rates in the selected period.

For the current month, dashboard occupancy is current-day occupancy: properties with an active rental as of today divided by total properties.

Properties with at least one non-canceled rental overlapping the month for historical months.
Properties with an active rental as of today for current-day dashboard occupancy.
