Past Due Amount

Unpaid ledger charges whose due dates are today or earlier.

Definition

Past Due Amount is the due-date-aware unpaid balance. It includes unpaid ledger charges whose due dates are today or earlier.

Formula

Past Due Amount = sum of remaining amount for unpaid ledger charges with due date on or before the evaluation date.

Remaining amount = max(0, adjusted charge amount - paid amount).

Included Records

  • Past-due rent and nightly stay balances.
  • Past-due late fees.
  • Past-due security deposits, cleaning charges, pet deposits, and other move-in or booking charges.

Excluded Records

  • Charges due after the evaluation date.
  • Canceled rental charges in normal action queues.
  • Paid or fully waived charges.
