Definition
Past Due Amount is the due-date-aware unpaid balance. It includes unpaid ledger charges whose due dates are today or earlier.
Formula
Past Due Amount = sum of remaining amount for unpaid ledger charges with due date on or before the evaluation date.
Remaining amount = max(0, adjusted charge amount - paid amount).
Included Records
- Past-due rent and nightly stay balances.
- Past-due late fees.
- Past-due security deposits, cleaning charges, pet deposits, and other move-in or booking charges.
Excluded Records
- Charges due after the evaluation date.
- Canceled rental charges in normal action queues.
- Paid or fully waived charges.
