Expected Rent
Rental ledger expected rent for months in a selected period.
Definition
Expected Rent is the rent expected from rental ledger months in a selected period. It is used by rental performance reporting to compare expected charges with collected revenue.
Formula
Expected Rent = sum of ledger expected rent amounts for months in the selected period.
Monthly expected rent follows the monthly rent, proration, and final partial month rules. Nightly expected rent follows nightly rate times night count.
Excluded Records
- Property expenses.
- Deposits and reimbursements that are not rent.
- Refunds and waivers except where they affect remaining balances rather than the original expected amount.
